Before you request a test
You must have your instructor endorsement and an IACRA application before joining the waitlist.
Review the fees and cancellation policies and your applicable pilot resources before sending your request.
Send the following information
- Full name and FAA Tracking Number (FTN)
- Email address and phone number
- Certificate or rating requested
- Part 61 or Part 141
- Initial test, retest, or continuance
- Aircraft type
- Flight school name
- CFI name and contact information

What happens next?
Once Jason receives your information and verifies your application in IACRA, you’ll receive an email confirming that you are on the waitlist.

Schedule exam preparation: 3 essential steps
1. Complete the application and instructor review
Work with your instructor to confirm the endorsement and application information for the certificate or rating you are requesting. Use the official FAA IACRA website for your application. Have your FAA Tracking Number ready when completing the request form.
2. Review the details that affect your appointment
Read the checkride fees and cancellation policies, identify the aircraft you plan to use, and provide your instructor’s contact information. Check the testing locations and contact details if you need to discuss an airport outside Jason’s primary location.
3. Send a complete request and wait for confirmation
Include the required information in the form above and describe any availability constraints in the optional notes. Once Jason reviews your information and verifies the IACRA application, you will receive an email confirming your place on the waitlist. Your test date is confirmed separately.
While you wait, use the pilot checkride resources and the FAA Airman Certification Standards for your certificate or rating. Follow the scenario assigned by your examiner rather than selecting an exercise on your own.
