ATP Restriction Removal
This restriction removal is typically needed for applicants that receive their ATP Certificate without meeting the age and/or aeronautical experience requirements. See FAR reference link in resources page.
This restriction removal must be conducted in person, not approved for Remote Technology. Please make sure you have a completed application in IACRA and be accurate with the flight time entries in Section III of the 8710 as this is what I will need to verify in person. Once completed, send me your FTN # and we can schedule a date to meet.
Bring complete and accurate logbook records and all needed documentation when you come for the in-person meeting.
ATP restriction removal: 3 preparation steps
1. Review the restriction and organize your question
ATP restriction removal starts with identifying the limitation on your certificate and the service you are requesting. Contact Jason if you are unsure which documentation to prepare. Describe the restriction and your intended appointment rather than assuming that every limitation follows the same process.
2. Prepare IACRA and supporting records
Complete your application in FAA IACRA. As Jason’s instructions above explain, accurate flight-time entries in Section III of the 8710 are important for the in-person review. Organize complete logbook records and the supporting documentation needed for your request.
3. Coordinate an in-person meeting
Once your application is complete, send Jason your FTN to discuss a meeting date. This service is handled in person under the instructions on this page. Confirm the location, documents, and applicable fee before making travel arrangements.
